About Jasmine

Jasmine Skala has been teaching humans how to have the best REALationship with their dogs for over 25 years. She owns Family Dog Obedience where she is a canine behavioral consultant for the San Antonio and surrounding areas.

She has competed and titled many of her own dogs.  Vayga and Gerta are both accomplished dogs with many titles, such as Rally, Herding, Agility, Schutzhund, Scent work and more. Jasmine loves to help people build REALationships with their dogs, and if they chose, to excel at many sports and activities as well.
She loves to expose dogs to many different environments and venues. Therefore classes are not always held at the same location. Social and environmental work are very important parts of building a bond and trust between you and your dog.  She has access to many types of training areas which always makes class fun and exciting.

Jasmine has been an AKC accredited evaluator for many years. She is passionate about her profession and educated in dog training methods and psychology.  She has been gifted with skills to help her clients feel empowered through their REALationship with their dog. She often says her students ARE her accomplishments. However, she doesn't think she is the trainer for everyone and encourages those interested to visit a class, there are many to choose from.  Please Email for details about which class and location would be best.

Jasmine volunteers, fosters and is an active member of her community. Her love of dogs has enriched many people's lives over the years.  Please contact FDO if you would like to discuss how to develop an AMAZING REALationship with your furry friend.

Jasmine is a certified evaluator in the following AKC tests...
